Airgas, Inc. has developed a new line of cryogenic freezers for use in food processing facilities. The Freezeright™ line of freezers uses liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide to flash freeze a range of food items. The freezers debuted at the International Poultry Expo in Atlanta, GA and the International Seafood Show in Boston, MA earlier this year.
The Freezeright line includes both standard and custom freezers that utilize the company’s expertise in both bulk gases and cryogenic equipment technologies.
Greg Caniglia, applications manager at Airgas Merchant Gases, said that the freezers’ common modular platform provides higher efficiencies, easier cleaning and a smaller footprint.
