Oxford Instruments Nanoscience (OINS) has introduced the MercuryiTC cryogenic temperature controller.
Used to control the temperature of samples being investigated, the controller features a flexible design. By adding plug and play expansion cards, the system can be configured to a user’s experimental needs.
The controller allows up to nine sensor inputs and four 80 W heater outputs. The same instrument can also control a motorized valve in a continuous-flow cryostat or even monitor and control the level of cryogen in a reservoir. The constant voltage excitation provides for accurate measurement.
