In what form is water available in LN2?

Does anybody know in what form water is available in LN2? There probably is a block of ice in the bottom of the tank. But as water comes in many shapes, I can imagine snow or crystals floating free in the LN2. When water is available in LN2, could small particles of dirt act as a core where water collects?

Our experience of water in LN2 is as ice crystals. Whether these exist free-floating in the LN2 I cannot say but we certainly see them stirred up when the nitrogen tank is filled and then pushed down distribution lines where they congregate on restrictions, filters, valves etc. Solenoid valves seem particularly prone.
