Praxair Distribution Inc., a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc., has acquired three packaged gas companies in the US. The company, which supplies a comprehensive range of industrial, specialty and medical gases and related equipment from 500 locations throughout the US and Canada, has acquired Alabama Welding Supply of Dolomite AL, Fowler Brothers of Birmingham AL and Service Gas Supply, Inc. of Midlothian TX.
The acquisitions involve four locations in Alabama and one in Texas; these operations will be integrated into Praxair Distribution’s southern region.
George Ristevksi, President of Praxair Distribution said, “We continue to execute our strategy of acquiring high quality distribution businesses that fit our portfolio while maintaining our strict return criteria.”
Terms of the transactions have not been released.
