10th issue of ESNF now available online

The 10th issue of the “European Superconductivity News Forum” (ESNF) is now available online to download at http://www.ewh.ieee.org/tc/csc/europe/newsforum/.
This issue is a “special” issue and features a limited selection of preprints from the 2009 CEC/ICMC conference. Some of the issue highlights include the CEC plenary paper by L. Serio that discusses the cryogenic challenges facing the international ITER tokamak fusion project and a paper on the cryogenics of the Korean tokamak KSTAR. Other CEC papers focus on cryocoolers and accelerator components and systems, while the ICMC papers focus on low and high temperature conductors and cables, superconducting bulk cuprates, and other topics.
