Luvata Waterbury, a subsidiary of Luvata Fabrication North America, has been awarded a $26 million contract by the US Department of Energy to supply superconductive material for the ITER project. The company will supply 86% of the US commitment of superconductive wire and copper wire for the project over the next two years.
“We are delighted to be playing such a significant role in this groundbreaking project and to be working so closely with such exceptional organizations,” Jim Lajewski, President of Luvata Waterbury, said.
