Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG announced the acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent’s Vacuum Technology Unit “Adixen” in mid-January. Pfeiffer had announced its intent to purchase the company in early November, and financed the purchase through a capital increase and the sale of treasury shares, as well as through a private loan.
Manfred Bender, CEO of Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology, AG, expressed his happiness that the transaction is now settled. “We already took first steps towards the integration of Adixen in the past weeks. Together with the management of Adixen we are convinced to become a world leader in vacuum solutions,” he commented.
