Dippin’ Dots Inc. has filed for Chapter 11 protection in federal bankruptcy court in the Western District of Kentucky, according to CNNMoney. The company said in a statement that the bankruptcy resulted from the its “failure to reach an agreement with its secured lender Regions Financial, following several attempts to do so.” The company plans to stay in business despite the bankruptcy.
