CSA Board Certifies Newly Elected Directors

At the August 14 CSA Board meeting held during the Applied Superconductivity Conference in Charlotte NC, the following directors, recently elected by the society’s membership, were certified: Peter Bradley, Lance Cooley, Eileen Cunningham and Jonathan Demko. They will take office on January 1, 2015. James Fesmire will begin his term as CSA president then. Demko has agreed to serve as secretary and Rich Dausman, treasurer, beginning at that time. Al Zeller will become immediate past president. Melora Larson’s election as president-elect was also confirmed. She will take office as president in January 2017.

Laurie Huget, executive director, Werner K. Huget, registered agent, and John Weisend, chairman, were all approved by the board to continue in their positions. The CSA constitution requires this vote to be taken every two years.

Others continuing their terms are Kathleen Amm, Vincent Grillo, Terry Grimm, Peter Shirron, Joe Snyder, William Soyars, Dausman and Sidney Yuan. Stepping down, having completed their terms, are Ed Bonnema, Susan Breon and John Urbin. The society thanks them for their service.
