HYPRES, Inc. has made plans to build an all-digital receiver for SELEX Communications as part of their software defined radio. SELEX Communications is a leader in advanced mission-critical communications, as well as navigation and identification solutions. The receiver will employ digital superconductivity technology to provide high-performance, multi-channel wideband for the software that SELEX is currently developing. HYPRES, a leading developer of superconductor microelectrons (SME) technology, has experienced increasing demand for these all-digital receivers, which exceed the performance of currently fielded satellite and tactical communications, signals intelligence, electronic warfare and software defined radio.
