Investigating use of hydrophobic surfaces in cryogenics

I am a final year Physics Undergraduate at the University of Cambridge (UK). As a part of one of my courses this year, I have been asked to investigate the use of hydrophobic surfaces in cryogenics. I have had little experience with cryogenics, and do not even know if these sorts of surfaces are used in the industry. I was wondering if you might be able to assist me by pointing me in the direction of a person / group of people in the industry with whom I could talk this through so as to further my knowledge in this area.

I would refer you to Prof. Ralph Scurlock, D. Phil. Oxon., Emeritus Professor of Cryogenic Engineering, University of Southhampton. Dr. Scurlock is an expert in the field, has received its highest honor, and he is a very amenable gentleman, so I think he would be a good person to help you find your answers. By copy of this email to r.g.scurlock@soton.ac.uk, I refer you to him. Please let me know if you have any further questions or if CSA can be of further help to you. Best of luck.
