Linde North America is relocating its National Operations Center to a bigger location in Stewartsville NJ. Linde’s National Operations Center (NOC) houses the production forecasting, delivery scheduling and remote monitoring and operation of the company’s atmospheric and process gas plants throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.

Linde’s NOC started as a five-person operation back in 1986 in a small office in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Now the center employs 150 people who handle nearly all aspects of supplying Linde’s 100-plus North American bulk customers with the gases they need. NOC employees schedule and dispatch around 35,000 deliveries a month. With the new 28,000-square-foot location came the opportunity to upgrade most of the technology the company uses to keep customers supplied.

“Moving to Stewartsville enables Linde to put key components of our supply, distribution and engineering functions under one roof. That way our people can help each other at a moment’s notice to keep customer’s businesses operating without a hitch,” said Steve Jennings, head of scheduling, who oversees the NOC.
