Chicago Bridge & Iron, or CB&I, has announced its recent $45 million contract to supply a cryogenic natural gas-processing plant for the Camisea gas project in Peru. An engineering and construction company, CB&I was awarded the contract by Pluspetrol Peru Corp, the leading company within the Camisea consortium. Previously, CB&I supplied four cryogenic plants for the Camisea consortium.
The unit will process gas at a daily amount of 520 million cubic feet. The gas will be extracted from the Pagoreni field, separating the natural gas liquids from the gas stream.
