An educational video sponsored by the Center for Liquefied Natural Gas (CLNG) will begin airing on public television stations throughout the nation starting January 17. The video, entitled “Spotlight on LNG,” is five minutes long and goes into some basic facts about LNG, including how LNG contributes as one of America’s clean energy sources. In the video, CLNG’s president Bill Cooper demonstrates that LNG is not flammable and does not leave residue or slick behind in the case of a spill.

“The ‘Spotlight on LNG’ video will provide the public with an unbiased educational overview of LNG and hopefully dispel some of the myths out there about this clean, safe and essential fuel,” said Cooper. “With US LNG imports expected to increase through 2030, the public deserves to hear the unvarnished facts about a fuel source that will help to generate electricity, and warm and cool their homes for years to come.”
