In a move to further develop business in healthcare markets, Air Liquide has acquired Pacific Science, a company that provides cryobiology equipment and services to biobanks.
Some of these services include designs for biobanks, vacuum line installations, liquid nitrogen supply, freezing and storage capacity, global process monitoring and cell tracking. Pacific Science, Inc. currently employs 15 people and will act as a channel through which Air Liquide’s cryobiology solutions can be brought to the US market.
The transaction is effective as of May 1st, and was made by Air Liquide Healthcare America Corporation.
