Instant Systems Inc., a Norfolk VA based manufacturer of packaging for human transplant tissue as used primarily by tissue banks, now manufactures a Teflon based cryogenic temperature tolerant system of pouches called CryoLoc™. The pouches, made with TruPeel™ technology, are peelable and can be used for aseptic presentation of human tissues allografts in a sterile environment, among other indications. The pouches are optically clear, puncture resistant, remain flexible at cryogenic temperatures and are tolerant to minus -196°C. All production is performed in ISO 6 (Class 1000) clean rooms.
